Released by Republic Pictures on April 20, 1946.

In 19th century Paris, a mysterious figure is murdering people. The bodies appear to have been savaged by some kind of wild animal.

Entertaining little film. Looks to have been inspired by the historical killings of London's Jack the Ripper; as well as Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
