'Hidden UFO civilization could be living secretly on Earth' says Harvard academics



Researchers from Harvard and Montana Technological University claim that a hidden civilization of extraterrestrials could be living on Earth

A new paper by researchers from Harvard and Montana Technological University has made the startling claim that an unidentified, technologically advanced population could be secretly living on Earth. The researchers suggest that "unidentified anomalous phenomena" (UAP), another term for UFOs, could be evidence of beings living underground, on the Moon or even among us.

Despite acknowledging that their theories may be met with scepticism by the wider scientific community, the researchers argue they should still be considered with "consideration in a spirit of epistemic humility and openness."

They propose the concept of "cryptoterrestrials" as a possible explanation for the unexplained observations reported globally each year, reports News Nation.

The paper outlines several theories:

~ A "remnant form" of ancient civilisation could still exist on Earth.

~ An intelligent species evolved separately from humans and now remains hidden.

~ Cryptoterrestrials could have travelled from another time period or planet.

~ The unidentified creatures could be of supernatural origin, akin to "earthbound angels".

The paper also suggests that cryptoterrestrials could inhabit areas known for sightings, such as lakes and volcanoes. The researchers theorise that the concentration of sightings in these areas could be due to them being entry/exit points for societies hidden deep within the Earth.

Other potential locations for cryptoterrestrial settlements could be close by, like the Moon. In late 2023, career intelligence official David Grusch claimed that the US government has been concealing UFO research programmes from the public eye. The government has consistently refuted allegations of this nature made by individuals like Grusch.

The article investigates how the government reacts to UFO sightings and notes that numerous enthusiasts reckon federal bodies are "deliberately downplaying the topic or at least obfuscating the extraordinary nature of many UAP-related events." Nonetheless, the researchers conceded the remarkable implications of their assertions, stating, "We entertain them here because some aspects of UAP are strange enough that they seem to call for unconventional explanations."

And you are so right about this amazing theory being perfect for several great story ideas! I'll post a few of them which occurred to me after I've pondered the concept and create a proper reply.
