Well, there is good and bad news about this spin-off of The Walking Dead
The good is the story-line. Compelling and gripping that will keep you glued to your seat.
The bad...the acting is not all that good. The main characters are terrible actors, and not a one of them are likeable.
If you are, or were, a fan of The Walking Dead, you may enjoy this spin-off, just don't be too disappointed in the very shallow and wooden acting that abounds in this series.
There are a few characters who do a well job in their roles, but overall, how the main characters kept their jobs long enough for 8 seasons is beyond me. _________________ "You look like a pooped out pinwheel."

I am a fan of The Walking Dead. However, I didn't plan on following this new spinoff series. Eleven seasons of zombies filled my interest in this premise. What more can they really do with the concept at this stage that will make it fresh & intriguing? |

The events of Fear the Walking Dead takes place before the events of The Walking Dead, and a few of the character from The Walking Dead make an appearance in this series: Rick, Carol, Jesus, Morgan...
Like I said, the premise and story is good, but the main characters' acting is terrible. Kim Dickens (Madison Clark), who plays a "take no prisoners, tough-as-nails" mother protecting her children just does not work. She is wooden, clichéd, and just a poor actress and not in the least believable in her part.
Unlike Carol who transformed into a fierce character in The Walking Dead, this transformation on Dickens' part just does not work, at all.
Her children, played by Frank Dellane and Alicia Debnam Carey are also equally weak and unbelievable. Her husband in the series, Cliff Curtis, is also sub-par in his role.
The good news is that many of the supporting actors (Colman Domingo, Ruben Blades, Lennie James, Daniel Sharman) are excellent in their roles. _________________ "You look like a pooped out pinwheel."
