Holy cow! What the heck is this? Shocked

If you're not familiar with this movie, you'll be amazed by the wildly different plot elements the trailer displays. Here's what IMDB says the movie is about.

An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.

Ah-ha! Well, that certainly clears up the matter. I thought it was going be real complex or something! Rolling Eyes

The Wikipedia article has a good article about the movie, but the link can't be embedded (for some reason), so you'll have to paste the link below (including the word "film" at the end) into the address bar.

I watched this movie today . . .

No, wait. I endured this movie today . . .

Sorry, that's not right either. I suffered through this movie today. Sad

The story is about people in different eras who may-or-may-not be related to the people we see played by the same actors over-and-over, all made to look very different in each era with elaborate make-up, costumes, and performances.

Trust me, you haven't lived until you see the guy who played Agent Smith in The Matrix in full drag as a sadistic nurse in a demented insane asylum! Shocked

Bottom line: this movie is three hours of misguided filmmaking. Avoid it.

I admire your ability to sit through it, Bud. I have tried 4 times so far, but just can't get into it.

However, it does have nice cinematography.

This movie must be seen only if you're TOTALY stoned or in a heavily medicated state.

After the first hour (of the 2:52 running time) I wasn't paying close attention. I was posting things on ASF and just enjoying the visuals in the movie while partially following segments of the fragmented story.

In others words, I can't really be be given credit for "sitting through it". (And the joint I smoked helped a little, too.)
Cool

Apparently then, Gord has the solution to the problem.
