Brainwashing, insanity, and sensory deprivation are part of this tale in which Dirk Bogarde submerges himself in an isolation tank to find out if a colleague was driven to suicide by the same experience.

Subconscious commands given to him by other researchers result in serious mental problems and marital difficulties.

Also starring Mary Ure, John Clements, Michael Bryant, and Wendy Craig. Directed by Basil Dearden.

One of the image hosts which Custer uses sometimes has recently changed the ".org" suffix to ".cc" for some reason, and he's been correcting the URL's whenever he finds a broken one. I've been fixing the ones I've found, too, like the one above. Very Happy
