_______
Above average TV movie with the ultimate wish-fulfillment plot for younger sci-fi fans; an 11 year old boy (Michael Link) sneaks aboard a NASA space vehicle and blasts off with astronaut Lloyd Bridges (who blasted off 25 years earlier in "Rocketship X-M").
Also starring John Carradine and Keene Curtis (a prominent voice in the 13-chapter "Star Wars" radio adaptation). Directed by Andrew V. McLaglen. _________________ ____________

I've never seen the movie, and I don't even remember it on tv. So when did they preform the cold equations, and pitch the kid out of the capsule, so that everyone else didn't die.

Bulldogtrekker and I downloaded the movie and chatted on Facebook while watching it. It's not great, but still entertaining. _________________ ____________

The Wikipedia plot summary describes a very imaginative plot, rivaling Space Camp's outrageously improbable events. I haven't watched it about six years, so I might give it another look this winter it get snowed in like I did back in 2014 and chatted on Facebook with Bulldogtrekker while sharing sci-fi movies all day.
I made the video below with my Kodak digital camera sitting on a tripod —
__________
— looking through the glass door in my living room. The feature during this video was Conquest of Space.
You can hear an exciting scene in the background!
Damn, what a great memory . . . .

I remember watching this when it first aired. I don't remember much, except that I think one of the astronauts got space sick. _________________ * * *
