|
Picked Kenji up yesterday and we have him in the upstairs “nursery” for now until we think he and our other cat are ready to meet. He’s a 10 week old male champagne mink Tonkinese. Me and the wife each take 2 hour shifts in the room with the little guy with the other spending time with Kobe, our almost 2 year old male Blue mink Tonkinese, who isn’t sure what’s going on yet. He can definitely “smell” something’s up though on my clothing.
Here are a few pics of Kenji.

He's a brave little tiger!

Wow . . . a champagne mink Tonkinese and a Blue mink Tonkinese.
Suddenly I have better understanding as to why the Egyptians worshiped cats! Just the names leave me strangely aroused. _________________ ____________

Great huh? I now clean two boxes. Kenji’s litter box sits inside a “condo” made of fiber board and carpet. It even has a lid for a roof. You can see the crap cathedral in the second video off to the right side.
Not cheap either is the poopie palace. |

Just be sure your wife understands that this is NOT the new Maytag dryer you promised her! And just to be on the safe side, keep the door to your dryer closed so the cats won't get confused!

Ahhhh... the Poopmaster 5000 from Uranus corporation! Awesome feline waste handling capabilities I’m told. And it has Bluetooth, too! |

Here’s Kenji a few days after getting neutered.
He has to wear a cone around his head for 10-14 days.
He feels rather chagrined about the whole thing.

Well....You can hardly blame him!
Did you know that the Ancient Egyptian word for "cat" was "miao"?
The only animal that named himself.
Makes you wonder. _________________ There comes a time, thief, when gold loses its lustre, and the gems cease to sparkle, and the throne room becomes a prison; and all that is left is a father's love for his child. |

________________________________
Back in August 2020, I spent an unpleasant hour in a hospital's CAT Scan unit to determine if an infected toe would have be amputated because the bone was infected, too!
The medical technician kept telling me that my foot had twitched, and he'd have to run the scan again . . . and again . . . and again!
Silently I vowed hunt down and kill the son of a bitch when I got out of the hospital! (I haven't done that yet. I'm just waiting for the right time . . . )
But the experience made me realize that despite my enjoyable cave exploring trips in the 1980s — spending the night with my buddies in pitch black caverns and crawling through tiny tunnels with baby bats sleeping inches above our heads — I was still capable of becoming extremely claustrophobic in situations where I was confined . . . especially if I was forced to remain motionless!
So, what does this have to do with cats wearing cones?
Well, if had to wear a cone around my next that prohibited me for seeing the rest of my body . . . I'd go "postal" and start hurting people!
Steve, please take that poor feline to someone who can provide psy-CAT-chiatric care as soon as possible! _________________ ____________
