Producer-writer-director Harry Essex took $40,000 and made this version of J. C. May's "The Dune Roller", a novella first published in Astounding Science Fiction magazine.

The story involves a spherical alien that rolls around a sand-dune-and-beach area, absorbing humans in the process. Mr. Essex did "Octaman" the year before. Bare in mind that $40,000 doesn't buy very much movie these days . . .

I rented this one from Netflix and got burned. That was one wasted rental. I gave it one star because they don't have any lower rating. I still bear the scars.

I feel your pain. But I wouldn't recommend baring your scares, especially in mixed company . . . Shocked

Now I'm totally confused as to what happened. Neutral

If a bear bears scars on its bare bear behind, the scars will barely show through the bear's hair -- unless it's bare of hair. Shocked

(I know. Bears have fur, but that wouldn't rhyme.)

So do hares, but a bare hare is less appealing than a bear bare of hair. To which I always reply...

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear;
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair...
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he?

What movie were we discussing, again?
