Everything on the flash drive is on the main computer, so no rescue mission is needed. I've ordered a new flash drive from Amazon, along with a paperback from my wish list to get up to the "free postage" amount, used a discount code I'd earned for almost half of the total...so all is proceeding smoothly.
The new flash drive is a different make to the old one - in fact it is a "SanDisk Ultra 64 GB USB Flash Drive USB 3.0 up to 100 MB/s"... I guess your picture of a Sandisk one subliminally influenced me, though it's a different model. And maybe eventually I can try reformatting this one! |

Most of mine are SanDisk brand as well. I've got a 34 GB, a 64 GB, and a 128 GB. One can't have too many of those things.
