WOW!
Cool, Technology is really getting interesting.
I think it would be cool if this technology was used in trains and jets too.
Imagine flying when you dont see the plane! |

This is a manifestation of a sci-fi technology I envisioned for a never-realized amateur movie story line I had going many decades ago.
I was piecing together some plot elements for a Super8 film project that would allow me to exercise my camera's special effects capabilities. It was to involve a protagonist who builds a flying saucer type vehicle. The saucer would have no windows. Instead, he would wear a helmet equipped with a visor that, in combination with equipment built into the saucer's dome, would allow him to see "through" the dome as if it were transparent. _________________ ...or not...

I've thought about that concept myself, Wayne.
If the goal is to allow a pilot to see what's around his aircraft, it makes a lot more sense for him to be able to look in any direction and see what's around him, rather than looking through a windshield or a view screen that severely limits his field of vision.
And having the instrument readouts also be part of his heads-up display makes more sense too, although designing the display so that the readouts didn't obscure too much of his view would be tricky.
I wish you'd made your movie so you could put it on YouTube and share it with us. _________________ ____________
