ESCAPE! — "Earth Abides"
This 50-minute double episode presents a gripping post-apocalyptic thriller from the novel by George R. Stewart. The play stars --
John Dehner
Parley Baer
Peggy Webber (star of The Space Children)
Directed by Norman MacDonnel
* The YouTube video provides a slideshow of relevant pictures to enjoy during the radio play. I highly recommend this one!

I read that book (same cover) back in my teen years. I'll have to give the radio version a shot. _________________ ...or not...

I'm listening to it right now! Flawless audio quality, and a very enjoyable drama. Reminds me a lot of The Omega Man.
Give Three Skeleton Key a try, Wayne. I heard it on a transistor radio with an earplug on Armed Forces Radio in Korea back in 1969 while on guard duty as an Air Force Security Policeman.
It was about 10:00 at night, walking around on the flight line with a rifle on my shouldering guarding C-130s. Scary story. It certainly kept me awake.
Three Skeleton Key is just as good as I remembered. _________________ ____________
