I thought the delivery of the dialog was the best part. None of the words failed to match the lip moments, which was very refreshing.
And the slow way Godzilla moves is very respectful to the Godzilla tradition, not to mention the way it gives theater goers ample to go visit the rest rooms and the snack bar.
I'm really enjoying waiting for this movie's release. I hope I get to enjoy waiting for it a very long time.

Wait, I'm confused. Which one is the real trailer for the movie — the one above, or this one?
They look so similar!

Watched Shin Godzilla and immediately deleted it from my brain.
The Godzilla design is terrible and the film is so very b-o-o-o-o-o-o-ring. Toho has said there will be no follow-ups to this one but the Godzilla continuity is so all over the place it's ridiculous; so what's another reboot (at some point)? Big disappointment. _________________ "Have you never wondered what it would be like to walk between the ticks and tocks of Time?" |

I still don't get it. Why have so many movies been made about a monster with such a ridiculous design?
With the exception of the American versions, Godzilla always has obsess legs, undersized heads, and a tail that neither drags nor moves in a reptilian manner.
Several artists have managed to make Godzilla look good, but he's a joke in all the Japanese movies I've ever seen.

Because they don't make a large enough ThighMaster?
Seriously though, nice body shaming, Bud! #lovemythighs

I understand why the original Godzilla was strange-looking since it was the first time Toho had done anything like it, and they had a lot of problems getting the costume right. The second Godzilla in the sequel made him much more trim, but then they went right back to the thunder-thighs look for every film after that
Oh well, live and let thigh.

They should make a commercial for Light Beer which shows Godzilla at a bar with other dinosaurs, and the caption would show Godzilla saying, "Hey, do you think this will help?"
A T-Rex next him would say, "You bet! I used to look just like you!" _________________ ____________
