1. Wheelhouse seems squattier; no "alligator eyes".

I really like that the schematic for the Nautilus indicates passage ways.
One of my pet peeves is that while they use naval terms for star ships such as bridge, brig, sickbay & so forth, various sf tv shows almost always refer to the passage ways as corridors or halls. The correct naval term would be "passage way" if one is going to use naval terminology for the rest of the space ship. |

This is another example of the way Hollywood screenwriters seem to have no regard for the integrity or the accuracy of their technical and scientific terms.
The implication is that audiences will not notice — nor even care — if such details are presented correctly.
But in this age of home theaters systems and online info, audience members are more able to study the movies and TV series closely and check the details. So, things do seem to be getting better in this regard.  _________________ ____________
