This may be a time of great uncertainly and unease....But it is also a time of great hope and the need for all of us to have faith in the Human spirit regardless of our ideologies.

It is a time of great possibilities and a need for us to have confidence in the power of the Human spirit to overcome all challenges in our way.

We've come through all the adversities that the Universe has put in our path and evolved from a simple slime to the apex of creation.

This is a day where we should give thanks to the Universe for all it's gifts and the blessings it has bestowed upon us.

To all my brothers and sisters on All Sci-Fi I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving.

As a Canadian, I'm not supposed to say this in local company but the truth is that the United States really is the best country on Earth.

About a week before the election, a friend of mine was asking for my opinion about the campaign (odd...because not many people ask for my opinion on anything). I told her that there was nothing to fear. The United States has the most perfectly designed democracy on the planet. The Americans will always land on their feet. The only people who really fail to fully appreciate the American system of government are Americans themselves.

You guys pretty much nailed it. You actually put "pursuit of happiness" in the Declaration of Independence...freakin' brilliant.

Good job my American friends. You deserve a pat on the back.
