Recently I've enjoyed several movie chats with members like Bulldogtrekker and Gord Green in All Sci-Fi's Chatzy room when we got in the mood to watch something we all had and where interested in watching.

All Sci-Fi's Friday Live Chat was never very successful, but these recent instantaneous chat's have been very enjoyable!

So, If you guys find yourselves in the mood for a movie any day of the week and want to suggest it right here on this thread, maybe we can throw something together!

I guess we could call this All Sci-Fi's Spontaneous Live Chat!

well, this sounds like a bust before it even started.

I said 6 pm PDT, as in on the west coast, where I am.
What's worse, I wouldn't be able to have any fun with bud sick.

how bout a rain check? (or flu check) anybody wanna try tomorrow ,Sat.? And this time please note the time zone.

By gum, I didn't notice that you'd said PDT either, Polly. Ya see, we've never done chats in the middle of the afternoon, and 6:00 PDT would be 3:00 EST for us.

Gordon has a wife who keeps him pretty busy, and sometimes we've had to schedule a chat as late as 8:00 EST because of that.

As a matter of fact, Bulldogtrekker also has a devoted wife he enjoys spending time with. On Saturdays and Sundays he and I often watch things at 11:00 AM EDT, but by 1:00 or so his off to spend a pleasant afternoon with her.

We frequently get together later that evening around 6:30. Of course, on weekdays BDT is at work, so 6:30 pm EDT is the earliest he can manage.

So, for future reference just bare in mind that movie chats will need to be after 6:30 EDT (which is 9:30 PDT, of course).

I think it's the other way around Bud. 6:00pm PDT would be 9:00pm EST.

Bud,
6:30 eastern time is 3:30 Pacific time. Therefore in order to chat with you at 6:30 EDT (your time), Polly would have to join in at 3:30 her time (PDT), not 9:30 PDT.
