Cool!
Should I wear this while watching The Invisible Boy (1957) or videos of Tom Corbet — Space Cadet? (CBS October to December 1950, ABC January 1951 - September 1952, NBC July - September 1951, DuMont August 1953 - May 1954, NBC December 1954 - June 1955). _________________ ____________

^^ Needless to say, that last one is obviously a modern parody. |

Wear it while watching "It Came From Outer Space". The kid that came to deliver a message to Richard Carlson was wearing one of these.

Krel, your suggestion gave me a cool idea!
What if they sold a version of these helmets to promote It Came from Outer Space, and the visor had built-in Red/Blue lenses for the 3D movie!
Imagine an audience full of kids watching It Came from Outer Space, many of whom were wearing the space helmets! _________________ ____________

They did! Butch Still has his and I've been using it instead of the Red/Blue lenses glasses that came with some of our old DVDs because they are too brittle.
Did anyone have this? I found it a box at a garage sale for only $1.50!

Same toy slightly different box:
This looks more like a hood ornament!

You're mistaken, Butch. The two pictures in your post are the same image. Note the jpeg codes with the removed.
But your Sci-Fi Toys album does have a second image which is very similar. You meant to post the two below. It's hard to tell if both boxes have all the same items. One silver rocket might be missing from the top box.
The boxes themselves appear to be identical.

Apparently Cdr, Adams was promoted and given 'prize money'! He invested in this to get kids off their electronics and to learn real science:
