Believe it or not, this early piece by Dick Hyman on a Moog synthesizer was a huge hit and played on radio stations nationwide in 1969. I loved it and bought the album it was on, along with the next one by Hyman.

Early Moog synthesizer compositions like this were exciting for the same reason that early CGI videos like The Minds Eye were. They presented a brand new media that did things that weren't possible until they were introduced to the public.
