This documentary about Ray Harryhausen is extremely well done, with gorgeous clips from Ray's movies, short films, and rare test footage, The fine narration, is of course, by the late Leonard Nimoy.
Enjoy! _

Marvelous documentary!
Follow the paths to more YouTube connections for a greater appreciation of a great genius!
Ray's work is outstanding because he acted as a storyteller...not just a computer geek. Every piece of work he did was an act of love for the story he was telling and every bit of his love and dedication to the goal of forwarding the narrative showed in the result!
The use of the master Bernard Herrman's soundtrack always added a touch of magnificence to his results!
May the name HARRYHAUSEN always be remembered as the BEST of storytelling artistry! _________________ There comes a time, thief, when gold loses its lustre, and the gems cease to sparkle, and the throne room becomes a prison; and all that is left is a father's love for his child. |

Well put! I couldn't agree with you more if you tied me to the Cyclops spit and roasted me until I sang your praises!
