My Godfather, Butch, is back in the hospital. One of his adenoids (right side just under the jaw) was swollen and started bleeding.

I've fixed the pictures on his posts; he hasn't really got a clue as he learned his computer skills way back in the early 1960s.

I didn't completely de-bone the turkey for the after-T-Day-turkey-soup. A splinter was removed from his adenoid. He'll be home either Thursday or Friday.

When you say you're "posting for him" I hope you just mean you're posting a message he wrote, or one he dictated to you. If it's your work, Eadie, we want to you name on it. Very Happy

But thanks for fixing his pictures. He just can't get the hand of that Photobucket stuff. Rolling Eyes

For butch it's gum thoroughly, his teeth were removed after his three day reactor tan.

Butch, my Godfather, was taken into the hospital very early this morning. He has a severe case of the flu. The flu vaccine is 'cooked' inside egg yolk and he his highly allergic to eggs. Thus no flu shot. He was coughing up blood. He is being kept artificially asleep so that he will heal. I'll post more as we learn more.

The 'doctors' (quacks in MY opinion) say he'll be there about a week.

Not possible, unfortunately.

He is on a breathing machine as they have either given him or he caught pleurisy, bronchiltis, pneumonia AND a COLD (Victorian doctor's slang: Common Ordinary Lung Disease) as well has having the flu!

On top of that the tube in his throat has abraded the epiglottis 'stop' and it is very raw.

Sheesh. Doctors today certainly are NOT what we see in the old movies and TV shows!
