The one movie from Hollywood's Golden era which compares to Raiders of the Lost Arc is this gem which stars Clark Gable, Walter Pidgeon, and Myrna Loy. If offers a rousing tale of competing newsreel photographers in the 1930s.
Miss Loy is a brave female aviator who desperately wants to find her missing brother in South America. Gable and Pidgeon are rival photographers who'll both do anything to get exciting news footage for their rival news agencies . . . until they both fall in love with Miss Loy, after which they team up to set aside their rivalry and help her find her brother.
The climax in the South American jungle is worthy of Indiana Jones. Watch this movie the next time TCM airs it!
