I enjoy reading articles and watching videos on YT covering retro-futurism.
The technology, in some cases, remains quite awesome looking and one is saddened we have yet to achieve it.
Disney's animated "Magic Highway USA" is terrific to view.
Be interesting to see the House of Mouse update Magic Highway via CGI today with new & fresh ideas for the topic. |

The great artwork, wonderful music, terrific narration, and (most of all) the inspiring optimism about the future — an optimism which no longer exist in today's culture — tends to make me think that none of the Disney "science fact" episodes could be improved.
Presenting an inspiring message about a bright new future just wouldn't work today. I know that sounds pessimistic, but today's society fears the future . . . instead of looking forward to it.
And that's incredibly sad.  _________________ ____________
