Rellics is a great TNG episode which includes an enjoyable story, a spectacular Dyson sphere, and a quest appearance by James Doohan — as a 147-year-old Montgomery Scott! 
Mr. Doohan did a stellar job of portraying an elderly Scotty who feels obsolete in the 24th century and frustrated by his unfamiliarity with the advanced technology.
The relationship between Scotty and Georgi is the best thing about this episode. Watching them work together is a joy when they repair the wrecked starship Scotty survived in by remaining in the transporter buffer for 75 years.
And of course, the dramatic rescue is spectacular! They rescue the Enterprise by blocking the closing doors of the Dyson sphere to allow the trapped starship to escape. I love it when the Enterprise rolls over and goes through the narrowing gap sideways!
This is TNG at its best!
