________________________________
It's fun to take two or more film titles and mash 'em together to come up a wacky story-combo!
Here's a few examples.
The Dirty Dancing Dozen
A musical set in WWII with singing and dancing GI convicts who storm a villa to take out a rival street gang known as the Nazis. The movie includes a song by the Nazi street gang called "Everything's Free in America — after Vee Conquer You!"
The Thing from Another Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World
A flying saucer crash-lands in the Arctic, and a team of scientist find a dying alien who tells them there's a priceless piece of advanced alien technology buried in Nevada under something called The Big Five One. The greedy scientist frantically compete with each other to find the treasure and win a Nobel Prize.
The all-star cast includes people like John Agar, Morris Ankrum, Hugh Marlow, and Russel Johnson (as the professor).
The Taming of the Killer Shrews
With a story loosely based on Shakespeare, this movie is about a group of unhappy husbands whose nasty wives make their lives a living hell. The poor guys seek help from a friend who is a molecular biologist. He invents a serum which drastically alters the behavior of the unpleasant women, turning them into sweet, devoted ladies . . . . who now have strong sex drives!
However, an unfortunate side effect of the serum occurs when the women's growth rate is suddenly increased. The movie ends on a cliff hanger which is resolved in the sequel shown below.
Attack of the 50 Foot Nymphomaniacs (Yes, Nymphomaniac is a 2013 film!)
The group of woman whose behavior was artificially improved accidentally grow to become giants!
Worse yet, they retain there voracious need to have sex with their beloved husbands! Unfortunately the men's sexual equipment is now woefully inadequate for the task, so they flee in terror from their love-starved super-sized wives! _________________ ____________

This was done on an episode of FUTURERAMA where the giant amazon nymphos threatened "Death by Snu-Snu!" _________________ There comes a time, thief, when gold loses its lustre, and the gems cease to sparkle, and the throne room becomes a prison; and all that is left is a father's love for his child. |

Beauty and the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms
Here’s a tale of star-crossed lovers whose romantic devotion transcends barriers such as time, biology, and their relative sizes . . .
The lovely Paula Raymond plays a paleontologist who falls in love with the fossile remains of a Rhedosaurus, dreaming about the day when this magnificent prehistoric quadruped would boldly stride down Fifth Avenue, sweep her up in his powerful jaws, and carry her away — rescuing her from a dull, uneventful life in the Museum of Natural History!
But then one day a handsome nuclear scientists tells her that a Rhedosaurus has been resurrect trom an icy tomb in the Artic, and it’s making it’s way south, towards the Big Apple!
Paula is thrilled by the news!
But as she gets to know the handsome young scientist, her emotions are in turmoil! Should she wait for her prehistoric Romeo to come and whisk her away . . . or should she succumb to her more conventional desires and get real frisky with the handsome scientists whose accent reminds her of Maurice Chavlier?
The climax (so to speak) of this romantic tale concludes with a fiery finish which tops anything Shakespear ever wrote!
The Grapes of the Wrath of Khan
Inspired by a novel by John Steinbeck, this gripping yarn relates the grim struggle of Khan Noonien Singh and his followers after being stranded on Ceti Alpha V by Capt. Kirk, forced to survive on an uninhabited planet.
However, Ceti Alpha V suffers a cataclysmic event which devastates its ecosystem and leaves the colonist struggling to eek out a meager assistance on this hostile world which bears a strong resemblance to Kansas during the Great Deprssion.
This is a tale about farmers struggling to survive in the middle of a "Dust Bowl" — except in this case, the drought is planet-wide!
But Khan and his followers persevere by following his wise leadership.

The North by North West Side Story
Yes, this is a musical. Yes, it has dancing, And yes, it concludes with Cary Grant and Eve Marie Saint prancing around atop Mount Rushmore while Cary and Martin Landau threaten each other with switchblades!
You haven’t lived until you’ve heard Cary Grant singing, “Marie . . . Marie . . . I just met a girl named Eva Marie!”
