The review on Ain't It Cool News says, "it seems like a funky fun midnight film you'd watch with friends. You know the kind whereas a group makes fun of the film, but deep down it's a fun experience?"

Style and tone is an intentional throwback to 1980's and 1990's Science Fiction and Action films such as Robocop, Split Second, Hardware, Predator, Con Air, and many more classics from the era.

When I saw the dimly lit scenes of Daniel Baldwin, I thought it was his brother and he'd been cast as the president in the film, so I thought, "Ah-ah, the SNL Trump gets to play the prez!"

But no, the president in the movie is Vivica A. Fox, as the first black female command in chief.
