Not exactly Pixar quality, but this is a nice little fantasy with a generous measure of imagination employed to populate the screen with teeny tiny CGI folks who live underground right in the backyard of a young boy who gets himself shrunk down and ELFabetized so he can go adventuring with the wee folk.
It's a French/American production, based on a children's book written by the film's French director -- which probably explains why the names of various places and characters and mythical little people are totally unpronounceable.
You'll be stuffing popcorn in your ears after 20 minutes of listening to names like Bogo Matassalai and the Minimoys and the land of Maltazard, along with Sifrat (the ruler of the Minimoys), and the city of Necropolis, not to mention Princess Selenia and her brother Betameche.
Sample a bit of this fantasy adventure with the trailer from Youtube.
