YouTube has a number of episodes from this great show, and the picture quality suggests that they're from the restored DVDs sold by Shout Factory.

This was one of those "flying saucer" stories told without ever showing a single one!
The "stranger" was interested only in certain oxygen producing desert plants while the Americans (One of them played by Marshall Thompson) were interested only in finding uranium and becoming millionaires.
A superior episode!

Hallelujah! A friendly voice calls out in the wilderness!
You're right that Science Fiction Theater danced around the UFO idea in several episodes, but they avoided showing any flying saucers. Actually, that's probably good, because the few times they did show saucers, the FX were embarrassing.
However, I agree that dramatically this episode was entertaining.
Gord, I think you're the only other real fan of this series that All Sci-Fi has, so keep them thar comments a'comin', pardner! _________________ ____________
