Someone out there is having fun.

Youtube has the introduction scenes for the episode "The City On the Edge of Forever," done via the style used on Trek's sister TV show Mission: Impossible.

Although I prefer Trek's credits with Shatner's timeless narration, I must say, it is clever how they utilized Mission's style for Trek, including the Mission music.

Youtube just added a Mission: Impossible intro for the episode "Space Seed." Nicely done.
