A Far Off Place was released by the Walt Disney Studios on March 12, 1993.
Three young teenagers and a dog must flee across the deadly Kalahari Desert to safety when their parents have been murdered by a poacher and his men.
Filmed in Nambia & Zimbabwe.
Currently available on Youtube. This was a very entertaining movie with all of the traditional Disney elements in play. High adventure, danger, interesting scenery, young love, and a happy ending. I highly recommend it. |

There, I fixed it for you. 
Even when Disney has two parents in a movie, they cut one out. See "Tomorrowland" where they cut the Mother out of the movie!
