I looked at as much as I could before Facebook decided to block me, but I don't see much I don't already have Robby-wise (on the FB page, at least). I may still pick the book up but I'll have to clear a few other expenses first.

I received my copy of CANDID MONSTERS VOLUME 21 SF Pt.6. I haven't had a chance to to read it yet, but I am looking forward to doing so, I have however looked through the book. There are some great photos that I have never seen before.

One problem is the colorization of the photos. It is fair at best and the color varies in the photos. In some photos the uniforms are varying shade of blue, and in one photo of the saucer set, the saucer rim is light blue, not steel. The colors for the control room set in no way matches the colors in the movie.

It would have been better to leave the photos in B&W. But others may prefer the colorization.

Here's where I first saw Forbidden Planet in 1956: the El Rey Theater in Chico, CA. (This photo was from 1963. "Three-hole Buick!")
