Another thing about the scieral lenses is that they covered the whole eye, which is one of the reasons for frequent removal. The lenses did not breath and had to be removed so the eye could get oxygen.
When they filmed the second "Star Trek" pilot, they used this type of contact lens to give Gary Lockwood silver eyes. They had problems finding someone who could still make those type of contact lens. Gary Lockwood found them painful to wear, and they had to be removed frequently to let his eyes breath.

I know I've asked this before, but which downloader do you use to get the 1080p versions? The Firefox add-one for YouTube won't get anything higher than 720 for some reason. _________________ ____________

You're absolutely right, Tim.
I think that it deliberately was filmed like a stage play — for reasons I can't imagine. And I don't think it was done that way just because it was a low-budget move. The movie has countless scenes that do indeed look like "a stage-play that they decided to make a film of."
If if were remade as a skillfully done movie, the difference in style would be striking, and the emotional impact would be much more forceful. _________________ ____________

I use XDM and Jdownloader. I gave more details here:
http://www.allsci-fi.com/viewtopic.php?t=8009
The first can get 1080p and even higher if available, and Jdownloader can do the same but also get subtitles, batches of files, and videos from sites that XDM can't detect.
For the second, make sure to get the no-ads installer. |

I've always thought that any man who could be sexually excited by an artificial women (no matter how realistic it was) would be a very different kind person than I am.
The thing that excites me the most in a sexual relationship is the fact that the lady wants ME as badly as I want her!
Without that essential element in the relationship, the robo-lady would be no more tempting than a cheaply made inflatable sex doll. _________________ ____________
