The Science Fiction Message Board will be involved with a "group book read" of Existence by David Brin this January... indeed, we may go on beyond the end of the month, as it's a fairly long novel, and not all of us have much time for actual reading, these days.



You are all invited to join in - on the SFMB, people will comment in our David Brin thread, while the main action should appear on the Facebook group we are linked with, with the catchy name of "Science Fiction Discussion Group." El Jim, alias on fb "Ricardo Wang," is hoping to end the festivities with a Q & A with the author himself.

Non-Facebook people can view the page if your "age restriction" is set at the least restrictive level (13+), but non-members won't be able to open a Facebook chat window on their own Facebook page (since they don't have one) and join the discussion, assuming that's how the discussion will be conducted.
