An homage to B sci-fi films, DPN is a fairly amusing commentary on black and white society in the 30s and today. Made on a budget of about $7k with lots of volunteers. The robot kills me.

Wow, this is remarkable! I've only sampled it so far, but it certainly has plenty of skill, talent, and imagination.
And the deliberate "1950s sci-fi elements" are beautifully done. Great looking rocket, terrific special effects, and very 50s-style science fiction music.
Thanks, Tim!

I just recently remembered this film as it was one of the many things I watched during my eight weeks of Covid (in 2020). That whole time is a bit of a fog.
I was impressed with the look and dedication the filmmakers had, as-well-as their approach to the subject.
Spotting/naming what hardware store pieces they used for the robot costume is practically a drinking game...if I drank _________________ "Have you never wondered what it would be like to walk between the ticks and tocks of Time?" |

I watched this a couple three years ago. I liked it enough but it didn't wow me. I sort of forgot it right away. _________________ * * *
