Why am I adding a thread to All Sci-Fi for a movie in which Debbie Reynolds falls in love with Army Sergeant Glenn Ford and then marries him just 24 hours later?

Well, the main reason is that Glenn's character buys a ticket from an ambitious gold-digger (played by Debbie) at a high societal charity event, at which the grand prize is prototype of futuristic automobile!





The rest of the story revolves around the fact that Debbie loves the car — but Glenn hates his new wife's obsession with wealth and elegant living!

As for me, I saw this movie with my family at the Roosevelt Drive-in back in 1959, I was dazzled by the Lincoln Futura!





I bought the model kit and painted it red. I was one of my most treasured childhood possessions!




But the movie itself is really a very funny and sexy romantic romp. I hope you'll enjoy this download from Archive..org. (Please get it soon, because I don't keep these downloads active indefinitively.)
