Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany doesn't return as Sarah Manning and her multiple clone sisters, but the characters are a foundational part of this sequel to that acclaimed 2013--17 science fiction mystery.
The new twisty adventure is mostly set in 2052, four decades after the original series, and it follows two clones, now called printouts: a young woman named Lucy (Former Marvel comics TV superheroine Jessica Jones actress Krysten Ritter) and teenager Jules. Both can't remember their personal histories and are falsely told the condition is a result of accidents that killed their families. Though Lucy craves a quiet life in the country, her plans are thrown into chaos when forces from her past arrive, leading her to meet Jules---and the hugely conflicted scientist who created them. |
