James Brolin & Linda Harrison appear as newlyweds headed for outer space. Later on, both would be part of the make-up tests in order to pitch the concept of the Planet of the Apes film to 20th Century Fox. Linda will co-star in that movie as Nova.
Connie Stevens & Jerry Lewis would co-star as a romantic couple in the 1958 film Rock-a-Bye Baby. |

I am not really a Jerry Lewis fan, but his two comedy sci-fi movies — Visit to a Small Planet and Way, Way Out — actually manage to have some funny moments.
Part of their appeal is the fine support casts. _________________ ____________

It might've been inspired by it, but it was hardly re-use. And parts of the film's animated titles somewhat resemble Lost In Space's first two seasons' titles. _________________ * * *
