That is one very cool mom, Wade! Cool

My mother never did what yours did, but she did take me to to see This Island Earth, Forbidden Planet, and The Time Machine — all at downtown theaters when those movies were first released.

And my whole family (mother, father, and sister) went to the Roosevelt Drive-in on many occasions, which included Earth vs the Flying Saurcer, The Werewolf, 20 Million Miles to Earth, The 27th Day, and The Fly.

But I don't remember Mom ever watching a movie on TV with me, with popcorn and Kool-Aid. Your mother obvious gave you a very special memory. Very Happy

My Dad, on the other hand, always felt that my help was invaluable whenever he had to work on the car. Mr. Green
