Every time I watch "Destination Moon" I'm impressed with the way John Archer portrays the powerful and determined man who decides America needs to go to the Moon — and American industry should make it happen.

Archer's acting range doesn't go much further than his single-minded character in "Destination Moon", but he did a fine job, and anytime I see him in other productions I enjoy his work, such as his minor role in "She Devil".

He also appeared in two episodes of "Batman" —

* Ice Spy (1967)
* Riddle a Day Keeps the Riddler Away) (1966)

— and one episode of "Men Into Space".

* Mystery Satellite (1960)

He was in two episodes of "The Man and the Challenge" —

* Recovery (1960)
* Killer River (1960)

— and he contributed fine performances in two episodes of "Science Fiction Theatre".

* The Phantom Car (1956)
* One Hundred Years Young (1955)
