This was really a very decent hard sci-fi film, and you're right, the robot is very impressive. The story is very well told and keeps you guessing all the way to the end.

Since you haven't seen it yet I'll keep the spoilers to myself, but I think you'll enjoy it.

Gord, I'd forgotten about this movie until I noticed this thread!

I still haven't found a way to download or stream it. I wonder if I should just buy it from Amazon. Heck, the DVD is only $4.99!
