[Bud Brewster]

Paul Birch was a stocky character actor with a very distinctive voice and a uniquely masculine face. He was easily recognized in any role he played. His participation in sci-fi films ranged from bit parts to starring roles. In "Queen of Outer Space" he can be seen wearing a costume designed for Morbius in "Forbidden Planet". His brief role in "War of the Worlds" is unforgettable. He's one of the three men who offered the white flag to the Martians.

Mr. Birch passed away in 1969 at the young age of 57. His sci-fi contributions include —
