The 1960 Bowden Space Lander (or Spacelander, I'm not sure which) bicycle.
I wonder if it comes in another color?

It looks cool, but that fancy streamlined shell must have added a lot of extra weight. |

Not to mention making maintenance a nightmare. There is a reason that they stopped putting rear wheel covers on cars, and those just clipped on.

Actually, it wasn't a streamlined shell. That's the actual structure of the bike! It's molded fiberglass...basically a moncoque where the skin and the load-bearing structure are one and the same. |
