Ah, that's good news - the first season was a lot of fun! |

I could have sworn I read this one was canceled. I liked it and I recorded the new ep tonight. My only complaint is that they don't have Felicia Day on this show. She'd be great and she sings wonderfully. If you feel the need to ask "who's Felicia Day", just google her to see more than you'd ever want to know. |

Galavant has now been cancelled, so no third season for us - still, we got a fine second season, up from eight to ten episodes. It has been interesting to see some, for Britain, well-known faces crop up as guest stars: Hugh Bonneville, Rutger Hauer, Robert Lindsay, Michael Brandon, Al Yankovic, Ricky Gervais, Anthony Head, Kylie Minogue, Simon Williams, Simon Callow, Sheridan Smith, Greg Wise, Reece Shearsmith, and Matt Lucas. Not all of them get to sing! Vinnie Jones does get to sing, though - not a talent he often delights us with. That's not him in the middle of this shot, though - he's in the bottom right corner.

This was really a funny show and at least showed some originality!
Too much of what passes as "entertainment" really isn't!
The songs and bits in this show may have only worked 90% of the time, but those were gems. |

Based on the amusing Youtube video below, I'm sorry I didn't watch this show . . . although if I'd liked it, then I'd be sad when they cancelled it . . . so I'm glad I DIDN'T watch it.
However, knowing there are only eighteen episode means I've already "dodged the bullet" concerning the disappointment of the cancellation.
So, I think I WILL watch it the first chance I get.

I see that "The Complete Collection" came out in the USA on dvd last month - I hope they added some useful extras! Certainly worth watching, or watching again... that video certainly leads into the whole thing nicely. |

During one of her visits, Ticket2theMoon (my daughter) shared many episodes of this wonderful series with me using Netflix streaming, and I really enjoyed it.
I eventually watched them all. It's a very clever series.
